Automotive DOP, London
I'm a London-based director of photography who has spent years filming cars: commercials, launch films, technical explainers and dealer content for Bentley, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Subaru, Peugeot, Scania, McLaren, Renault and many more.
Good car work is half craft and half logistics. You need to understand how light moves over paint, how to shoot an interior so it feels like a space rather than a dashboard, and how to make a moving shot dynamic, safe, repeatable and on schedule when there is so much more to shoot. I'm used to tracking vehicles, car rigs, test tracks and tight dealership display rooms, often in the same week.

Kit for car work
I often use Sony FX6 and FX3, DJI Ronin 4D on a Tilta Hydra Alien car rig, suction and RAM mounts, wireless focus and monitoring, plus a fully racked camera van. I can bring a small self-contained crew or slot into a bigger production. Theres a package for every scenerio. See the full kit list →
