Hetain Patel, the director for this film, had such a strong idea of the feeling he wanted to convey that it was very easy to get in sync with him on it. The background story of the Mayflower crossing with migrants travelling to the US 400 years ago was so compelling and so beautifully choreographed that I felt very lucky to be part of this. We lit this with a lot of large units though the windows and shot it with 3 cameras including a technocrane and gimbal as we had a lot of people and a short day. The talent were all from local dance groups in nottingham and they were so fantastic and worked so hard.
